Liquid Crest places small round lab-grown pavé diamonds along the edges of its solid, flowing shoulders. The accent line is a distinct part of the design, so it deserves its own review alongside the marquise center. Before ordering, confirm the intended pavé placement and ask how those small settings should be cared for in the finished ring.
This is a useful starting point if the narrow diamond detail is what drew you to Liquid Crest. You can identify that feature clearly without assuming a final stone count or treating the product imagery as evidence of finished workmanship.
All images in this article are design visualizations, not photographs of a finished piece. Stone appearance, scale and construction details are illustrative.
Locate the pavé before counting stones
The shoulders provide the substantial metal form. The pavé follows their edges, adding a separate line of small diamonds. Liquid Crest’s specification also states that there is no hidden halo, so the shoulder-edge detail should not be described as a diamond ring beneath the center.
In general, pavé uses closely arranged small gemstones to create a concentrated decorative surface. GIA’s guide to ring settings explains the technique and notes that pavé settings can need occasional maintenance. For Liquid Crest, keep the more precise location in mind: the shoulder edges.
Confirm the edge detail you are choosing
Use the close-up to point out the line you want to preserve, then ask to review its proposed extent in the order-specific design. Useful questions include where the pavé starts and ends, how it follows each shoulder, and which views show the transition back to plain metal.
The current product specification leaves the final accent count and dimensions to CAD and stone selection. Do not count bright points in a visualization and turn that number into an order specification. Ask for the confirmed accent details when the design and stones are finalized, keeping them separate from the center diamond.
If you request a change to the edge line, describe the location rather than using a broad instruction such as “more sparkle.” Ask the Jewelry Concierge to confirm feasibility and any effect on price or preparation time.

Keep the center supports separate
Liquid Crest’s center design has six support points: two protective V-tips and four side prongs. Those describe the marquise setting. They do not supply the construction details of the small pavé settings along the shoulders.
The white marquise lab-grown center has an approximately 7 ct center-only design target, with E color and VVS clarity sourcing targets. The selected center, final dimensions and available grading information are confirmed before production. The approximate center target excludes the accent diamonds and is not a measured finished-ring weight.
Make the pavé part of the care conversation
Ask for care instructions that cover both the center and the shoulder-edge accents in your selected metal. Include how the small settings should be inspected and when the jeweler would recommend professional attention. There is no need to assume one maintenance interval suits every ring or wearer.
For cleaning, avoid treating the diamond’s hardness as permission to use any device. GIA’s diamond care guide advises against home ultrasonic and steam cleaning because those methods can loosen stones. Our lab-grown diamond ring cleaning guide covers gentle care and when to seek an inspection.
If a finished ring develops a new snag, a visibly damaged setting or a suspected loose accent, stop wearing it and have a jeweler assess it. Do not press on the small diamonds or try to tighten their settings yourself.

A short pre-order note
Record “solid flowing shoulders with fine pavé edges; no hidden halo,” then add your selected metal and a request for final accent details. Liquid Crest is offered in 14K or 18K yellow or white gold, and Platinum PT950. This keeps the decorative detail you want connected to the care information you need.
Frequently asked questions
Does Liquid Crest have a hidden halo?
No. The current specification describes pavé along the shoulder edges and explicitly states that there is no hidden halo.
How many pavé diamonds are included?
The final count and dimensions are confirmed during CAD and stone selection. The visualization does not establish an exact count.
Do the center’s E and VVS targets apply to the pavé?
Those sourcing targets describe the white marquise center. Ask separately for the confirmed specifications of the small lab-grown pavé accents.
